Job Description
The candidate must have a keen interest in IT. Qualifications and previous experience and/or knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Windows Server, Azure and SQL are desirable.
The successful candidate will be provided with on the job training and with additional appropriate training as required.
The Role
- Day to day management and support of the internal and Azure IT infrastructure.
- Installation and setup of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central Middle Tier Application Servers – both internally and externally for customers.
- SQL Server Setup/Admin/Support (on prem and Azure) – including restoring SQL database backups.
Desirable
- Understanding of technologies required to deliver a Hybrid solution – Active directory, directory sync, ADFS, DRS.
- Understanding of technologies required to secure Office 365 and hybrid environments – conditional access, MFA, Intune.
- Understanding of Office 365 components – Exchange online, SharePoint online, OneDrive for business, Skype for business/Teams.
- Experience of design, implementation and support across:
- On-premise infrastructure (Virtualisation, Storage, Networking)
- Azure (IaaS/ PaaS)
- Intune (conditional access, MFA)
- SCCM
- O365
- SQL Server Setup/Admin/Support (on prem and Azure).
- Experience dealing with customers, and business owners (both technical and non-technical) and be comfortable discussing systems and solutions.
