You will be working mainly in the London/South East, and the projects will be challenging, exciting and heavily focused towards rolling out Dynamics 365. The Role
- Analysing and recording customer requirements during customer-client workshops
- Advising and instructing the customer on the best use of Microsoft Dynamics D365 to suit their business requirements
- Producing appropriate documentation to a high standard according to project methodology and phase
- Ensuring that the Microsoft Dynamics D365 implementation is correctly configured to provide the processes run as defined
- Designing Microsoft Dynamics 365 modifications to allow the customer to perform any processes which have been identified as gaps
- Testing and documenting the modifications that have been designed and introducing the finished changes to the customer
- Presenting to prospects and customers at all levels of the customer business
- Represent the business in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Required Experience
- A good educational background ideally up to a degree level or equivalent in related subjects, OR have significant experience in retail or distribution businesses in a management role
- Qualifications in retail-relevant components of ERP applications or have equivalent knowledge gained through experience
- Significant knowledge to a demonstrable level of at least one and ideally more of the following Microsoft Dynamics CRM or D365 for Operations work-streams:
- Financials
- Distribution & Trade
- Warehousing
- Retail and POS
- Human Resources
- OR equivalent experience on tier-one or tier-two ERP systems in the same areas, and be able to relate that experience to the new platform and ERP
- Excellent understanding of ERP systems and how they are employed in business use
- Good awareness of the technical components of an ERP environment, and how they integrate
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products in the preparation of documentation, analysis and presentations. Tools regularly employed are Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
- Candidates should have significant previous ERP or Microsoft Dynamics D365 Consultant experience, either in-house or field delivered
- History of implementation consulting within multiple ERP implementations
- Experience of working within a proven implementation methodology, e.g. SureStep
- Business Analysis or Business Consultancy experience OR significant experience in system delivery in an in-house environment, where you played a pivotal consultancy role
- You will possess the skills necessary to work in a team environment with other consultants, developers and solution architects
- You need excellent problem solving and communication skills
- You must be able to show proper analytical methods and have the ability to understand requirements and convert these into relevant solutions
- A high standard of personal presentation and demeanour
- A professional attitude in all communications with customers and team members at all times
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivation and be driven to achieve professional success and be able to empower other members of the team to do the same
- The ability to get stakeholder buy-in and be able to get participants at all levels involved and engaged in discussions
